Why Engineers need PLC training?

Image
  1. PLC is better than Microcontroller Fresh engineers passed out from college do not have hands-on experience of programming and wiring etc of PLC. Some of them have used Arduino based microcontroller kits for a final year project. However in the real world PLC must be used as it gives large IO handling capacity, Better Noise immunity and easiness in doing scaling for analogue inputs. 2. PLCs have wide-ranging Applications PLCs have a huge demand in many sectors including automobile manufacturing, water purification, textile machines, pharma sector, petroleum refineries, chemical manufacturing, home automation, printing machines, power generation, marine applications and so on… the list is endless. Automobile Manufacturing                    Water Treatment Textile Machines                                  Pharma sector Petroleum Refineries  ...

PLC Troubleshooting

1. Keep Spare parts ready : In general, keep 10% spare parts ready for the number of that part used. So that if a part malfunctions, you need not search for a replacement at the eleventh hour.   2. About Fuse : If you replace the fuse and if it blows again then, the problem may be that the module’s output current limit is being exceeded or the output device is shorted. 3. Ground Loops   When two or more electrical paths exist in a ground line, it is called a ground loop. For example, in the figure above, at the chassis or device enclosure, the transducer and transmitter are connected to the ground. The transmitter is connected to an analogue input card through a shielded cable. The shield connects to both chassis grounds. So, it creates a path for current to flow from one ground to another since both grounds have different potentials. The current flowing through the shield would induce magnetic fields in the signal transmission. This could create interference. Hence,...

The future of PLC and SCADA courses.

Image
PLC and SCADA have played a major role in the Electronics Revolution i.e. industry 3.0 PLC and SCADA  are used in all types of industries… It can be small, medium or large.   Automation field is dependant on them.  They have high reliability and flexibility.   It means, even if some changes are made in the machine cycle, then still efficiency, speed and compatibility in networking can be maintained.   The IoT Revolution (Industry 4.0) will increase a lot within a short span of 5 to 6 years.   It will be an upgrade to industry 3.0, not a radical change. Hence, the necessity of  industrial automation courses  will go on increasing. A bouquet of industrial automation courses like PLC & SCADA, HMI, VFD etc are present for you to select from. If necessary, our experienced experts will guide you to select a suitable course.   The course will increase their practical knowledge. A large number of opportunities will be available...

What is Automation?

Image
The purpose of automation is to make a machine automatic. Because of automation, human intervention is reduced. Automation is widely used in automobile manufacturing, processed food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, pharma manufacturing, packing machines, home automation, printing machines, textile machines, furnace and other machines in foundries and so on for a large number of applications. Automation in manufacturing. Many years ago, when there was no automation, manufacturing was dependant on manually operated machines. However, automation uses PLC , motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, SCADA, and  HMI automation  gives advantages like fast speed, high accuracy, high quality, safety, repeatability. Hence, automation is a must for the survival and progress of any manufacturing company. Benefits of Automation: L ow operating costs Automated machines can do tasks which are humanly impossible. Due to the efficient and energy-saving abilities of machines, energy bills ...

4 Reasons why this is the right time for you to go for a career in automation

Image
  1. Lack of Skilled Manpower : These days Companies need skilled manpower, as projects need to be completed in target time, with very high-quality standards and without wasting money. So skilled engineers are in high demand in any industry. There is a lack of skilled engineers who are strong in the basics of their branch and at the same time have proficiency in Automation. Hence there is a scarcity in skilled, trained automation engineers available for the automation industries. Our  automation course  is a bridge between engineering institutes & automation industries, thru which necessary required automation skills can be imparted. 2. Automation is the Future : For manufacturing & process control sector, speed and accuracy in production are highly important. This trend is there for last many years and it will continue to be in future also. Hence there will be major job opportunities in the sector of automation. Stereotype and repetitive jobs will go on reducing....

WHAT IS SCADA PROGRAMMING?

Image
The SCADA programming means designing and implementing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition depending on the need of the application. A SCADA program consists of a set of static screens, alarm, trend, navigation and security. This is to be implemented for specific industrial real-time applications. A SCADA programming software allows entry and development of SCADA user application program in a computer. This computer can communicate with PLC hardware. Then,if the PLC is placed in Run mode, the SCADA will display animations etc. This enables humans to understand the status of the machine. How to learn SCADA programming? Step 1: Start with PLC .: A SCADA programmer should have knowledge about PLC involved in the application. Because SCADA receives information from PLC. Step 2 : Understand the purpose and sequence of application along with number of inputs and outputs devices. Step 3 : Open the necessary SCADA programming software. Step 4 : Start making static screen as per parts invo...
